The Pohutukawa is native to New Zealand also know as the New Zealand Christmas tree (it has bright red flowers during December), which flourishes in coastal areas throughout the North Island. This honey is pale almost white in colour, creamed to stop granulation and is sweet with floral overtones - a very popular New Zealand honey.
